Attorney Clay Plummer has been licensed to practice law for over two decades. He specializes in all levels of criminal defense, to include State, Federal, and Military law. A retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel with multiple combat deployments, Clay has spent years representing people the government accused of crimes. Clay has litigated thousands of cases and personally litigated over 40 Jury Trials, to include murder, adult and child rape and sexual assault, aggravated assaults, domestic violence, drug possession and distribution, thefts of all types, DUIs, and more. In addition to criminal defense, he served as a prosecutor for seven years, and as a judge for three years.
An expert in criminal defense, Clay spent three years supervising and training over 60 criminal defense attorneys in six geographically separated offices while he held the position of Regional Defense Counsel, Western Region, which is the largest criminal defense organization in the Marine Corps. Clay is a graduate of UNLV with a Bachelor's of Science (1995), and he has a Juris Doctorate from the University of New Hampshire School of law (1998). In addition, he holds an advanced law degree (LL.M.) in criminal law (2013). Clay also attained his Certificate in Judicial Studies from the National Judicial College, Reno Nevada (2012). As a Military Officer Clay swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic. Clay continues to follow his oath by representing people against the very government the Constitution was written to protect us from. Clay is licensed to practice law in the states of Nevada and Indiana.
